Skank

A derogatory term referring to a promiscuous person (typically a woman) with many casual, sexual relationships or encounters. The term originated in the late twentieth century to describe steady-paced dances performed to reggae music. However, it has become a synonym for other discriminatory words such as whore, sleaze, or slag. Significantly, this term shames sexual liberation and ultimately promotes misogynistic concepts of female purity.
